Some issues which may arise, include upset stomach and diarrhea, although, one of the most effective uses for aloe Vera juice, is to relieve constipation naturally and effectively. Consumption of aloe Vera is a great way to supplement one’s dietary habits, as it is rich in several essential vitamins and minerals. One of the benefits of aloe Vera, is that it aids in chronic fatigue by increasing one’s energy levels. This is partially due to the amounts of B vitamins which are found in aloe Vera. Drinking aloe Vera gel is healthier than taking an energy shot, as it provides natural, lasting energy, by powering the body with essential doses of niacin, Vitamin B6 and B12. Aloe Vera can be mixed into one’s favorite drink, or consumed by itself. There are now several aloe Vera “energy” drinks available on the market, and can be found at local health food stores.
The consumption of certain foods has been known to enable the body to work more efficiently, especially during times of stress, and while in heavily polluted areas. Such foods have been labeled as “adaptogens.” Aloe Vera is a powerful adaptogen, and when it is consumed, it helps the body become more resistant to illness, as well as allows it to recover more quickly, and efficiently. Those who find themselves dealing with chronic stress may be more susceptible to developing illnesses (due to a compromised immune system). Therefore, the regular consumption of aloe Vera is beneficial, in order to counteract the effects of stress.
As previously mentioned, aloe Vera is commonly used as a natural way to aid digestion and relieve constipation. Laxatives often contain powerful stimulants, which can be harmful to the lining of the stomach if overused; However, aloe Vera is a gentle, effective laxative, which usually produces a bowel movement within ten hours. To use aloe Vera as a natural laxative, it is usually consumed in tea or capsule form. Aloe Vera only works as a laxative for those individuals who are constipated; For others, it produces no unwanted side effects.
Some plants such as chia seeds and seaweed are considered dietary staples in many areas around the world, and are useful to naturally eliminate toxins from the body. Aloe Vera is also a gelatinous plant, which helps to draw toxins away from the body when consumed, and effectively flushes them out. Aloe Vera enables the system to get rid of toxins more effectively, while restoring proper digestive balance. Because aloe Vera promotes digestive health, as well as naturally detoxifies the body, a secondary side effect of regular use is weight loss. By ridding the body of impurities, as well as maintaining regular bowel movements, an individual may shed some excess pounds. Aloe Vera should never be utilized as a sole method of weight loss, as it is best to develop a healthy diet and weight loss routine to promote long term success.
One of the most well known uses for aloe Vera, is to treat sun burns and abrasions. The properties in aloe Vera gel are both anti inflammatory, and soothing to the skin. Though some may express doubt to the efficacy of aloe Vera, millions of people around the world attest to plant’s soothing effects for sunburns, as well as minor burns. By keeping a piece of aloe Vera chilled in the freezer, one will be prepared to deliver soothing relief at all times.
Aloe Vera is highly moisturizing, and is a wonderful way to deliver moisture to parched, dry skin. There are several lotions and gels made with aloe Vera which are available on the market. Aloe Vera is also soothing on rashes associated with eczema and other skin conditions. Although there are hundreds of products on the market which promise to deliver all the benefits of aloe Vera in liquid, gel or capsule form, the best way to receive maximum benefits of this versatile plant is to harvest it naturally from a personally owned plant. Aloe Vera is a beautiful, yet fairly hardy, plant, which can be cultivated and raised in almost every region.
By keeping an aloe Vera plant in one’s home, an individual can obtain maximum benefits of this plant for the entire family. Aloe Vera plants are relatively inexpensive plants, which require little effort to maintain, and are commonly sold at lawn and garden stores. Because the side efforts of aloe Vera juice are minimal, this powerful plant continues to gain popularity as an effective way to treat a multitude of conditions.

You should be able to get a small plant for under 5 dollars at most garden centers orWalmart. I have grown mine inside for years and it does wonderfull. Just needs a sunny location and a little water every week. Remember this is a desert plant so don't over water. The leaves dont heal themselves the end you cut off just turns brown but the rest of the leaf is ok. As for drinking the liquid I have seen it in health food stores but you wold have to have alot of large plants to produce enough to drink.
